Hotel Chacaril - Pila (Valle d'Aosta)

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The staff and owners were cute and helpful. The hotel facilities were excellent, including a cozy bar and restaurant area with a real mountain ambience. The location provided fine panoramic views of the extraordinary landscape, including Aosta valley, Monte Rosa, and Mont Blanc. The cleanliness of the rooms was perfect, and the breakfast was delicious. The hotel was conveniently located close to the cable car and a few good restaurants/pizzerias. The transportation was easy, with a 20-minute ride on the cable car to the nearby city, offering amazing views along the way. The staff were great too make me feel at home, and the reasonable price for the service provided was definitely a bonus.

We had a fantastic stay at this cozy hotel in Pila. The staff and owner were incredibly welcoming and their warm hospitality made us feel right at home. The stunning views from the hotel were breathtaking, with panoramic vistas of Aosta valley, Monte Rosa, and Mont Blanc. The location was perfect, just a short distance from the cable car and a couple of great restaurants and pizzerias. We were thrilled with the convenience of the cable car, which took us down to Aosta in just 20 minutes and offered amazing views along the way. It was also very affordable at only 6 Euros for a return trip. We would definitely stay here again, especially if we were planning a skiing trip.

The double rooms for single use at Hotel Chacaril are ideal for experiencing the mountains. They provide all necessary amenities and have a cozy feel that makes you instantly relax and unwind. As a solo traveler, I thoroughly enjoyed the warm and inviting atmosphere of these rooms.

Personally, I found the bidet in the private bathroom to be unnecessary. But hey, that's just my opinion!

Didn't know if it was day or night in my room, since I had a lovely view of the approach stairway and a low roof. Ah, the joy of darkness!

The wifi did not extend to the room, making it frustrating to upload photos from the comfort of the room.

I had such a lovely stay at this hotel! the friendly management and helpful staff, along with the warm welcome from the owner and their young family, made me feel right at home. the stunning views of the alps from my north-facing room were absolutely breathtaking. Not only did I enjoy the comfortable bed and warm room, but the excellent breakfast provided a great start to each day. the hotel's location was also convenient, being close to the cable car and a couple of good restaurants/pizzerias. my experience at Chacaril was superb and I would definitely stay there again, especially for a skiing trip. Cons: Don't have any issues at all 😊.

Not one thing.

The hotel had everything we needed for an awesome vacation with our friends. We spent our days shredding the slopes and exploring the beautiful Valle d'Aosta. The ski pass sales point made it super easy for us to hit the slopes, and the free WiFi kept us connected to all our friends who couldn't make it. Plus, the hotel was super close to other activities like cycling, so we never had a dull moment. It was seriously the best time ever!

If I had to ask for one thing, it would be for the hotel to have a cool party area for young people like us. We had so much fun during the day, but it would've been even better if there was a place to let loose and have a good time at night.

The double room for single use at Hotel Chacaril was perfect for me as a physically handicapped guest. The room was equipped with all necessary amenities, allowing me to enjoy my stay in the mountains comfortably and conveniently.

Though the room was great overall, I personally found the wooden furniture to be a bit outdated. However, this is just my subjective opinion, and others may still appreciate its rustic charm.

Gorgeous and super friendly and helpful staff! Owner run so service absolutely excellent, nothing was too much trouble. The view is STUNNING and the rooms really nice and pretty. Good location and only a short way from the town. Bed was comfy and the room was warm. My room had a north facing view of the alps which was stunning. An extraordinary landscape with an open view of Aosta valley, Monte Rosa, Mont Blanc. Remarkably friendly staff owners ready to make their guests feel at home. Very reasonable price for the service they provide.
